Gwyn’s emphasis is on using locally sourced ingredients to create delicious, yet simple dishes. A graduate of the Baltimore International Culinary College and a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) as well as Women Chefs & Entrepreneurs, Gwyn has been cooking and writing about food for more than 25 years. She is also the author of Amazon best-selling cookbook How to Cook for Beginners and more recently, One Pot Supreme.
Wine Expert, Nikki, has worked in sales for one of the largest beverage distributors in the United States for over a decade. To learn from the best, Nikki went to Italy to learn from winemakers themselves. She has since earned her Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) level 2, in both of the world's best wine growing regions across France, Italy, and California. Her other passion that pairs well with wine? She is an enthusiast for actively discovering new wine & food pairing combinations.
Owner of Top Shelf Mixology Consulting, Brooke is our go-to mixologist. Unless she is sipping on a small batch of bourbon, Brooke never does anything small. Winner of Southern Maryland's Best Craft Cocktail in 2016 and recently crowned 2018 Mid-Atlantic Battle of the Bottle Champion, Brooke specializes in teaching mixology classes, bar and restaurant consulting, trains hospitality teams and creates unique craft cocktails tailored for restaurants' specific clientele. Brooke's love for handmade simple syrups and fresh ingredients play a big part in crafting a fantastic cocktail that always shake up any social setting in the best way.
